Refund Policy
1. Overview
This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which SISUiQ OY ("we," "our," "us") issues refunds for paid subscriptions to iQ Signal (the "Service"). It supplements our Terms of Service; if anything conflicts, the Terms of Service take precedence.
Payments for iQ Signal are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd. and its affiliates, who act as the merchant of record. Refunds approved under this policy are issued back through Paddle to the original payment method.
2. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on first-time paid subscriptions (Pro, Studio, and Enterprise tiers). If you are not satisfied for any reason, request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase and we will refund the full amount paid.
The 14-day window applies to your first subscription only. Renewals, upgrades from a previous paid plan, and reactivations are covered by section 3 below.
3. EU/EEA Consumer Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services purchased online. This right runs alongside the money-back guarantee in section 2 and gives you the stronger of the two protections.
By starting to use the Service immediately on purchase, you expressly request that we begin providing the Service during the withdrawal period and acknowledge that you may lose your statutory right of withdrawal once the Service has been fully performed. Where the Service has only been partially performed, we will refund the unused portion on a pro-rata basis.
4. Subscription Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel before the renewal date. Renewal charges are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
You can cancel renewal at any time in your account settings (Billing → Manage Subscription) or by emailing info@sisuiq.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to the Service until that date.
5. Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for 12 months at a discounted rate. The 14-day money-back guarantee and EU right of withdrawal in sections 2 and 3 both apply.
Outside the 14-day window, annual subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-term, your access continues until the end of the paid period; no pro-rata refund is issued.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email info@sisuiq.com from the email address on your iQ Signal account. Include:
- Your account email
- The Paddle transaction or invoice ID (visible in the email receipt or under Billing)
- The reason for the refund request (optional, but helpful for us to improve)
We aim to acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and to process approved refunds within 5–10 business days. The refunded amount typically appears back on your original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval, depending on your bank or card issuer.
7. What is Not Refundable
- Renewal payments outside the original 14-day window (see sections 2 and 4)
- Add-on usage, overage charges, and one-off purchases consumed in full
- Subscriptions on which a previous refund has already been issued
- Accounts terminated for breach of the Terms of Service
- Enterprise contracts with custom payment terms — refunds under those follow the signed agreement
8. Chargebacks and Disputes
Please contact us before opening a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or card issuer. We can typically resolve refund requests directly within a few business days, whereas chargebacks take longer and may suspend your account during investigation.
Fraudulent chargebacks (i.e., disputing a charge for a service that was provided as described) may result in account termination and may be reported to credit bureaus.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be notified by email to active subscribers at least 30 days in advance.
